As part of the YOUth Roots project, all partners implemented local coaching and mentoring activities in their respective regions to engage young people and youth workers with the project results. These sessions introduced participants to the YOUth Roots framework, Handbook, Toolkit, and learning modules, while supporting them to apply rural entrepreneurship concepts in practical and community-oriented ways. Through non-formal education methods, peer learning, group discussions, and digital collaboration tools, participants explored business planning, sustainability, local development, and youth-led solutions for rural challenges.

The activities created space for participants to test project resources, provide valuable feedback, and transform ideas into concrete entrepreneurial concepts. Across the partnership, the mentoring process strengthened participants’ confidence, improved their understanding of rural business development, and produced meaningful outputs such as business ideas, action plans, testimonials, and recommendations for refining the project materials. Overall, the coaching and mentoring phase successfully connected project results with real local needs and empowered young people to contribute to sustainable rural innovation.
